Both teams were rather quite in the first inning with the Wildcats getting the only hit in the inning. The second inning was a different story for the Wildcats. Colton Stover started the inning with a triple followed by singles from Curtis Harpster, Larry Bechdel, and Jordan Miller. The Wildcats scored 3 runs on 5 hits in the inning. The top of the 3rd was a quick 3 and out with the help of a big double play which was 1 of many on the night for the Wildcats. The Wildcats tacked on 2 more runs in the bottom of the 3rd to increase their lead to 5. The Eagle were able to get on the board in the 4th when Pillot scored on a RBI  single from Kotzer.The Eagles added another run in the 5th when Noll washit by a pitch while the bases were loaded. With the score 5 to 2 going into the bottom of the inning the Wildcats put up 4 more runs on 4 hits and added another in the 6th.The Wildcats heldthe Eagles in check and closed out the game with yet another double play.
